Introducing my little foster baby BALMAIN!

Balmain is exactly 9 weeks old today. His breed is part mystery as we only know that his mum was Staffy X Cattle so we’ll have to wait and see what he looks like when he’s older to guess better (I’m thinking either Ridge Back or Mastiff at the moment).

We are fostering Balmain from the wonderful Rescue group BIG DOG RESCUE. Balmain’s mum Athena was rescued from the pound heavily pregnant. After a few weeks safe at BDR she gave birth to 8 healthy pups, 6 x girls and 2 x boys. Balmain was the runt of the litter and was at first not 100% coping, in the first few days. Brad and I visited and photographed all the pups at 2 weeks of age and then again at 5 weeks of age. When it came time for re-homing 6 of the 8 pups were adopted (just last week). Balmain and a sister Maddison are the last two yet to find their forever homes.
